Early Life and Career

Brandon Tate Nimmo was born on March 27, 1993, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He attended the University of Arkansas, where he played college baseball for the Razorbacks. In 2011, he was named a Freshman All-American by Baseball America and College Baseball Insider.

Nimmo was drafted by the New York Mets in the first round (13th overall) of the 2011 MLB Draft. He made his Major League Baseball debut in 2016 and has since established himself as a valuable member of the Mets' outfield.
