57-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Franklin Crash
A 57-year-old motorcyclist from Franklin has died following a weekend crash, police said Monday. The Franklin Township Police Department said the crash occurred on Route 517 near the intersection of Fig Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was traveling eastbound on Route 517 when he collided with a westbound vehicle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
